Fraunhofer ENAS presents new results in applied research at the world’s largest semiconductor exhibition and leading forum for microelectronics manufacturing in China, the SEMICON China 2013, in Shanghai/China. The institute exhibits in the German Pavilion, on the booth 2722, from March 19 to 21, 2013.

Fraunhofer ENAS offers R&D services, consulting, feasibility and reliability studies for smart systems. We develop integrated high-precision sensors, components and systems and shows:

  • High-precision acceleration and inclination Sensors,
  • Gyroscopes,
  • NIR and MIR MEMS Spectrometer,
  • Fully-integrated microfluidic cartridges for in-vitro diagnostics.

The Fraunhofer ENAS focuses on Smart Systems Integration by using micro and nano technologies. Our core competences are amongst others the development of silicon and non-silicon based MEMS/NEMS, wafer level packaging technologies for MEMS/NEMS, 3D Integration and other advanced technologies as well as reliability and security of systems and components. Fraunhofer ENAS is your partner for applied research and is represented by an own office in Shanghai since more than 10 years.

Professor Thomas Gessner, director of Fraunhofer ENAS, speaks about “Smart Systems for a better life” on the China Semiconductor Technology International Conference (CSTIC) 2013 in Shanghai on Monday, March 18.
