Fraunhofer ENAS exhibits toghether with the High Performance Center "Functional Integration in Micro- and Nanoelectronics" and the Research Fab Microelectronics Germany FMD at the joint booth of Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft in hall 2 at HANNOVER MESSE 2018.
At booth C22, the partner show a demonstration system of the project SdSeMa - Structure-integrated wireless sensor/actuator technology for manufacturing systems. The project SdSeMa aims at the research on approaches for structure-integration of sensors into manufacturing systems using a ball screw drive as an example. The developed solutions, methods, and technologies apply to a lot of applications for functional integration in machine construction where an insignificant retroactive effect on machine and components, minimal form factor, robust installation in machines, intelligent data logging, preprocessing and wireless data transduction is
relevant. The offered technologies result from a synergetic cooperation of different Fraunhofer institutes combining their competences to build competitive and innovative solutions.
Furthermore Fraunhofer ENAS presents various inertial sensors, such as miniaturized acceleration sensors, high-precision inclination and vibration sensors, as well as a 2D GMR magnetic fiels sensor. These sensors are available to be applied for monitoring of manufacturing systems.
