With the motto »Clean drives. Efficiently produced.«, the conference focuses on the aspects of fuel cells that are suitable for series production and their hydrogen powertrain, as well as efficient production using state-of-the-art production processes. For the second time, the conference invites scientists and engineers to discuss the latest trends and developments in research and industrial applications.

Fraunhofer ENAS shows printing technologies for production of MEAs and sensors for fuel cell drives in two oral presentations and at an exhibition booth.

Lab tours

The institute invites to lab tours at the Smart Systems Campus Chemnitz on May 31, 2022 from 4 - 6 pm. The researchers will demonstrate printing technologies used to produce CCM (Catalyst Coated Membranes) for MEAs (membrane electrode assembly) in fuel cells. They will also present nanostructured metal oxide sensors for hydrogen detection and position sensors for position control of the rotor of the e-machine of a turbocompressor. Methods for reliability evaluation of electronic systems for power electronics will also be introduced.

Tours are scheduled in small groups of up to 5 people and last one hour. Register directly at the Fraunhofer ENAS booth in the accompanying Fuel Cell Conference exhibition on November 23.
