The 10th Silicon Saxony Day takes place in the Internationales Congress Center Dresden on July 7, 2015.
The event is titled "Intelligent.Digital.Connected" and provides a platform for Silicon Saxony e.V. members and representatives from high-tech industries, science, research, public institutions at the business location Silicon Saxony as well as of European cluster partners from France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Austria. In the interactive workshops the following topics are discussed: Smart Fab, Intelligent Systems for Power Electronics, Medical Systems, Intelligent Energy Storage Systems and Smart City.
Fraunhofer ENAS presents together with the Center for Microtechnologies of TU Chemnitz following research results:
- High-precision inertial sensors (example of an inclination sensor)
- 2D GMR magnetic field sensor
- RF MEMS
- a Fabry Perót Interferometer or an Infrared-MEMS-Spectrometer for analyzing gases and liquids
- a test card with a printed battery and further printed components for analyzing the cholesterol content in blood
- Micro fluidic cartridges for point-of-care diagnostics
- a system for wireless energy and data transmission
