MAM - Materials for Advanced Metallization 2013

MAM 2013 will be the 22nd in a series devoted to research on materials properties and interactions of interconnect and silicide materials.

The MAM 2013 takes place from March 10 to 13, 2013 in Leuven/Belgium. The aim of the conference is to provide a forum for open discussion on applied science and industrial applications. Participants include international materials scientists, engineers and students from universities, research institutions and industry.

The objective of the conference is to provide a forum for open discussions across fundamental and applied sciences and industrial applications. It is dedicated to international material scientists, process and integration engineers and students, and historically had attendees from universities, research institutions and industries. To meet the progressive downscaling of device dimensions and the demand for more functionality, the challenges fall to material solutions. New and extensive materials research is needed to further allow chip scaling for the 14nm and 10nm nodes as well as to develop novel nanoscale devices.

The 2013 conference will also address new challenging topics in the fields of Materials for (resistive) Memories; Materials for Energy Harvesting; and Organic-Inorganic Hybrid Thin Films.

The MAM held alternately in France, Belgium and Germany (Dresden). Prof. Stefan E. Schulz is a member of the Scientific Program Committee.
