Our mission is to develop liquid-based microfluidic systems with a high level of integration („Smart Microfluidic Systems“), considering both fabrication technologies and cost during the whole development process. The main goal is the miniaturization of complex analyses in biomedical, environmental and agro-food applications.

Gas-based Microfluidic Systems

Gas-based micro fluidic systems are especially used for active flow control (AFC). Our main focus of research is set to fluidic actuators, as well as mechanical actuators, their electronic control and the integration into complete systems.
