Laboratory microspectroscopy setup with laser excitation for fluorescence, transmission or absorption measurements.

Spectroscopic and microscopic methods are routinely used for the analysis and characterization of materials, surfaces and thin films. At Fraunhofer ENAS not only spectroscopic components and systems are developed and manufactured in-house, but also a variety of laboratory measurement equipment is available for customized measurement services. We offer spectroscopic methods (absorption, transmission, fluorescence) for a wavelength range from UV over VIS to mid-infrared as well as optical microscopy methods (wide field, laser scanning / confocal, scanning nearfield optical microscopy / SNOM) for the analysis of your samples. Highly sensitive (standard) laboratory equipment but also specially designed setups (e.g. microspectroscopy setup with short pulse laser source) can be used. We are able to detect and analyze smallest amounts of light down to single photons (Time-Correlated-Single-Photon-Counting).
